Description

Ah, the good old days of modelling weapons for infiltration. How I miss em.

I do not however miss the days of UVW mapping mechanical objects. Why is it every time you try to simplify your geometry your model decides to generate an infinite number of redundant faces?

I wanted to create a gameworthy weapon model (First Person Model) and texture it. Something I've never done completely on my own.

1024x1024 texture
2028 Triangles

Weapon is a Remington 870 Express Magnum with a 2-shot extension. It's not immediately obvious, but I actually modelled the extractor on the bolt wrapping around the shell in the chamber. I'm silly like that : D

3DSMax/Photoshop and I think about 12 hours work total
